WASHINGTON, May 18 (Reuters) – The United States has seen a threefold boom in day by day COVID-19 instances over the past month and a consistent boom over the last five weeks, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walenksy stated on Wednesday.
