Humans or robots? This will be the future of the world according to Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple

Technology is growing at an overwhelming pace. Every minute that passes, the Artificial intelligence It gains ground by substituting the human in daily activities. It is logical to think that, in the not so distant future, we will be full of robots everywhere.

Will it really be this way? One of the fathers of computer technology imagines what the world will be like in 2050, that is, in just 30 years.

Is about Steve Wozniack, co-founder of Apple. Together with Steve Jobs, ‘Woz’ designed the first computer of the company with the bitten apple, a feature that shows us the weight of his opinion regarding the evolution of technology.

Anyone could say that Steve Wozniak defends tooth and nail the exaggerated development of technology. And as he himself says, in a review of Soy Emprendedor, at some point it was like that.

However, over the years and the use that has been given to digital tools, the expert defends that the participation of the individual must be fundamental in the development of the planet.

So, this is how you imagine the world will be in 2050, without the dominance of robots, but with a clear use of digital tools for almost any activity.

The world of 2050, according to Steve Wozniak

First of all, for Wozniak, autonomous vehicles will be fully installed in the most advanced cities in the world. “I think there will no longer be cars but self-driving transportation, that is, autonomous,” he said.

“The modern city is going to evolve but that can only happen if cities are rebuilt and infrastructure that already exists is replaced. This could take like 200 years, so we probably won’t see it as long as we’re alive,” he added.

Another situation is that the cash will disappear, something that is very predictable, since it is seen more frequently every day. “We are going to have a society where cash will no longer be king. Right now there are cities in South Korea that are already being cashless and where there is only digital or plastic money.”

Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, is now driving a new company: Privateer.

Goodbye keyboards; surely we will do everything by voice commands. “By then we are going to use them much more but through gestures and voice. We won’t even have to write, we’ll just talk to them. Today, human speak recognition is imperfect but it is going to be transformed to facilitate communication and that is very technologically possible”, specified Steve Wozniak.

All of this will be driven by the presence of human beings. For Wozniak there is no future in which people do not dominate all aspects of existence.
